Build the fossil free future with us!

We're looking for a technical project manager/co-founder

We want to build the largest, greenest bank in the world.

Spark is a digital bank allowing you to lend money you don't need right now to renewable energy projects around the world. Money you need you can spend as usual using our prepaid smart card.

Our team met at UC Berkeley, started the company at Columbia University after winning some support from the Earth Institute, and now it's our mission to create a product that makes it easy and fun to make money while lending money to renewable energy projects around the world.

We're looking for a technical co-founder or project manager who preferably has a degree within computer science or similar, but most importantly you're able to lead a team, have some technical skills, and are as fired up as we are to launch the world's first impact-driven neobank whose purpose it is to build the fossil free future.

You're a builder (you build, tear down walls, and find new roads where the old ones are blocked), get a smile on your face when you're proven wrong, and are ready to get moving as quickly as possible towards the fossil free future rather than waiting for politicians and the Big Four banks to do the work for us.

We're counting on you to help us build a bank platform that connects consumer payments through our bank sponsor's payment system with our loan partner's renewable energy investment platform. If you have any experience with creating payment systems, bank services, and encrypted transaction systems that's a plus.

It doesn't matter if you just got done with your studies or if you've already worked for a few years.
